Ministries In Higher Education

Ministries in Higher Education include the “Disciples on Campus” campus ministry for Disciples of Christ students attending college in Athens, Georgia -- at the University of Georgia, Gainesville State College, Athens Technical College, and Piedmont College. “Disciples on Campus” also provides encouragement and support for Disciples congregations serving in the vicinity of a college campus anywhere in the Region of Georgia. 

Another ministry which is currently being redesigned is the Atlanta United Divinity Center. This ministry serves seminarians who enrolled in theological education in the greater Atlanta area.  For information about the Atlanta United Divinity Center, please contact Dr. Bob Harris at 770-815-9078.

The Disciples on Campus Minister, Bob Harris, serves as the President of Christian College of Georgia. (www.ccofga.org).

"Disciples on Campus” is also a member of the PEELD Ecumenical Ministries at the University of Georgia.  This group includes the ministries of the Presbyterian Church, USA; the Episcopal Church; the Evangelical Lutheran Church; and the Disciples.
